Bio (Sculpture) Gel is a gel polish that is applied onto natural nails, artificial tips or gel extensions. It does not require primers but some buffing is required. Bio Gel cures under a UV light, therefore providing a long lasting finish: minimum 3 weeks on finger nails and 6 to 8 weeks on toe nails. Bio Gel can be safely removed by a special soaking solution, leaving healthy and undamaged nails underneath.

Bio Seaweed Gel is a healthier gel polish that is 5-free (free of formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, BHA, or solvents); odourless, and safe for pregnant women. It adheres to any type of nail without the need for sanding, drilling, primers, or bonders. Bio Seaweed Gels are cured under UV/LED light and will last up to 2 weeks without chipping or peeling.

UV Gels are artificial nail extensions that are cured under a UV light. They require heavy filing during the removal process (and this might damage your natural nails underneath.) A good set of UV gel nails lasts for about 3 1/2 weeks.

A set of acrylic nails is created by applying a liquid monomer and a powder polymer over your natural nails, that cures and hardens when exposed to air. Acrylic nails last for about 2 weeks and are removed using the soaking method.

Shellac is a brand of hybrid product that has the characteristics of both gel and nail polish, that can be applied directly onto natural nails. After curing (under a UV light,) a set of Shellac nails feel natural and lighter, compared to gel or acrylic nails. They last for a minimum of 2 weeks and could be longer, depending on how fast you nails grow. Shellacs can be removed using the soaking method.

Curing processes uing UV or LED lights take a fraction of the time compared to the air dry process. However, due to the potential harm UV rays might cause on your skin, we recommend you apply a coat of broad spectrum sunscreen on your hands/feet before heading to the salon.

Whenever possible, go with a manicure that involves the soaking method during removal because not only is it faster, it is also the least damaging to your natural nails.
